1. Create the product feed​

Before connecting your store to Lyst, you first need to create and configure the feed. To do this, log in to your Shopify store admin and follow these steps:

  1. Go to Apps > Mulwi Feeds > Feeds.
  2. Click Add Feed to generate the new feed.
  3. Choose the Lyst feed template. The feed is created in CSV format.
  4. Set feed's status in the This feed is currently block to Active.
  5. Fill in the general feed information:
    • Feed Internal Name. Give your feed a descriptive name.
    • Filename. Give your feed file a unique name.
    • Max Number of Items per File. Set to Unlimited.
    • Compression. Compress the feed file if necessary.
    • Protect feed with password. Password-protect your feed if necessary.
  6. In the Applied Filters section, you can use product filters to choose what products should be included in the feed.
  7. In the Template section, pick appropriate values for Lyst's required Attributes.
  8. In the Source of prices section, you can set product prices from Markets or Price Lists.
  9. In the Stock Locations section, select from which locations you want to include stock levels and availability information.
  10. In the Translation section, you can select a language to translate your feed into.
  11. Configure the Google Analytics section if you have an analytics campaign.
  12. Click Save at the top of the page to finish and generate the feed.
NOTE

You won't be able to change the Filename after you save the feed.

After saving the new feed, you can customize it if necessary.

2. Connect your store to Lyst​

You connect your store to Lyst through a respective partner account on its platform.

NOTE

Lyst requires a product feed during registration, which is why you need to prepare a feed beforehand. Create a product feed if you don't have it yet.

In order to become a Lyst partner, you must send a connection request to Lyst's support team by filling out this registration form.

Afterwards, wait for Lyst's reply to schedule a call.
During the meeting, provide either the feed URL or the local feed file.

Where to find the product feed URL?

You copy the feed's URL from Mulwi in such way:

  1. Navigate to the feed you need.
  2. Find the Feed block.
  3. Click the Copy feed URL button.

As a result, the feed's URL will be copied to your clipboard.

How to download a product feed file locally?

You download the feed file from Mulwi in such way:

  1. Navigate to the feed you need.
  2. Find the Feed block.
  3. Click the Download button.

As a result, the feed file will be downloaded to your device.

Once you agree on your cooperation, Lyst's team will create a new partner account, connect your feed to it, and give you the credentials to access this account.

3. Upload the new feed to Lyst​

Only Lyst’s team can change the product feed connected to the platform.

So, to upload a new product feed to your Lyst store, you'll need to ask Lyst's support team for help. You can do this by filling out this Lyst partner support contact form.

Lyst's tech team will then update your listings with the new product feed you provide.
